Abandoned Boat Policy
New policy regarding boat racks along the Three Rivers Water Trail
The pedestrian walkway that parallels the Ft. Duquesne Bridge will be closed from both sides effective 6/4 through 6/6 for Point State Park renovations.
Starting May 8th, the portion of Nine Mile Run Trail between Duck Hollow and Commercial St. will be closed intermittently until the end of September for the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh’s (URA) Swisshelm Park Solar Project.
Join us on the Strip District section of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail for a Trail Care Tuesday opportunity! Volunteers will tend to tree tubes, clear undesired vegetation, collect litter and clear debris, and other general trail maintenance needs.

As the backbone of the stewardship program, our regular public stewardship volunteers – YOU – help us keep the Three Rivers Heritage & Water Trail systems safe, accessible and clean week-in and week-out.
We offer trail clean up events for volunteers and regular stewardship opportunities. Your financial support helps build and maintain the Three Rivers Heritage Trail and Water Trail.
