The Three Rivers Heritage Trail is an expansive 33‑mile urban riverfront trail system along both sides of all three rivers in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County. The trail connects visitors to opportunities for recreation and commuting for both residents and visitors to the region, and allows access to dense urban areas, popular shopping and entertainment districts, and green space.

The segment of Three Rivers Heritage Trail in Chateau between Branchport Street and N Franklin Street will be temporarily closed due to repairs needed. It will be closed to all pedestrian and bike traffic. The suggested detour uses Metropolitan St.

Train on the Trail - Water Quality Awareness

September 8^th @ 5:30pm - 7:30pm

Join us for another Train on the Trail session led by Three Rivers Waterkeeper! Participants will learn how to spot and report pollution on the water with the chance to paddle the Allegheny River.

September 9^th @ 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Join us on the Duck Hollow section of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail for a Trail Care Tuesday opportunity! Volunteers will clear undesired vegetation, continue restoration work, collect litter, and other general trail maintenance need.
